SUMMIT MARKETING WAKE FOREST BAPTIST PROPERTY

Summit Healthcare Group (SHG) has been named developer of the Medical Office Building adjacent to a medical complex being developed by Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in eastern Davie County. SHG will also represent WFUMBC in marketing the land adjacent to the medical complex.

SHG is representing Wake Forest Baptist in marketing approximately 47 acres for commercial development at Interstate 40 and Hwy 801, the first interchange in Davie County after crossing the Yadkin River going west.

The site includes 41 acres for a medical complex that WFUBMC and SHG will begin developing this summer. It is located across from the Kinderton development, which includes residential and retail development.

The site is one of the last undeveloped tracts at an I-40 interchange in the Piedmont Triad and offers exceptional visibility from the interstate.
SHG envisions a variety of business that may include hotels, full service restaurants, other retail and professional offices.

The portion of the site adjacent to Interstate 40 has been designated for commercial development by the Town of Bermuda Run. WFUBMC and SHG are developing a site plan.

“The site will attract the kind of development that will complement the high standards that Bermuda Run and Kimberton have embraced,” said Terry Bralley, president of the Davie County Economic Development Commission. “It is highly desirable for commercial development.”

WFUBMC plans a medical complex that will include outpatient surgery, diagnostic imaging and related services and physicians offices in the first phase of its development.
